The QMat Canadian Consortium consists of the Stewart Blussom Quantum Matter Institute SBQMI at UBC, Institut Quantique at Sherbrooke, McMaster University, and University of Toronto. 

Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR)

CIFAR Quantum Materials Program is working towards bringing on the Quantum Age. It includes researchers with three areas of expertise: materials scientists who create new materials; experimentalists who probe materials’ properties; and theorists who invent new concepts and develop our mathematical understanding.
